The Capsule Wardrobe: How to Reduce Your Closet

These days, a minimalist lifestyle is extremely popular among Millenials. A lot of young people want to have less and be more. It’s true, we don’t need a lot of things to be in harmony with ourselves.

If you share this vision, you may also want to consider building a capsule wardrobe. It’s an effective way of solving the problem of ‘I have a lot of clothes but nothing to wear’. It can also save you a lot of time and money. You will not have to spend tons of money to look fresh and stylish every single day.

To start your journey with a minimalist wardrobe, you should get rid of things you don’t usually wear. It might be a bit painful though. However, it’s time to declutter your wardrobe and open a new page in life.

You should check catalogues and decide on the style you’d like to have. You will have a chance to upgrade your style by leaving only the clothes you enjoy. Whether you like taifun collection or boho-chic style, make sure your clothes match. Ideally, you should be able to match every piece of cloth with at least three others in your wardrobe.

You need to spend a day decluttering your closet and trying everything on. Make four capsules: summer, autumn, winter, and spring. Make sure you do not have more than ten outfits per capsule.
